01Who we are

Halden & Voss Architects (“Halden & Voss”, “we”) is the data controller for personal data collected through this website, within the meaning of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, for visitors in the European Economic Area, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Our studio is at Cevdet Paşa Caddesi 42, Bebek, 34342 Beşiktaş, Istanbul, Türkiye. For anything about your data, write to privacy@haldenandvoss.com.

02What we collect

When you send an enquiry: your name, email address and, if you give them, your phone number, company, the location and type of your project, an indicative budget and timeline, and anything you write in your message.

When you browse: our hosting provider records technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, as part of normal server logs. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

03How we use it

We use enquiry details only to reply to you, to assess whether we can take on your project and, if we work together, to prepare a proposal. Server logs are used to keep the website secure and running.

Our legal grounds under Article 5 of KVKK (and Article 6 of the GDPR) are steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and protecting the website, and compliance with legal obligations. We do not use your data for automated decision-making, and we will not send you newsletters unless you ask for them.

04Who we share it with

We never sell or rent personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run this website: our hosting provider (Vercel Inc.) and our email delivery provider (Resend). They process data on our instructions and under confidentiality and data-processing terms.

Because these providers operate servers outside Türkiye, some data is transferred abroad. Such transfers are made in accordance with Article 9 of KVKK, relying on standard contractual clauses and the other safeguards the law provides.

05How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a commission are deleted within 24 months. If we work together, project correspondence is kept for as long as the law requires us to keep project records. Server logs are kept for a short period, normally no more than 30 days.

06Your rights

Under Article 11 of KVKK you may ask whether we process your data, request information about it, learn the purpose of processing, know to whom it has been transferred, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to outcomes arising solely from automated analysis, and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing. Visitors in the EEA have the equivalent rights under the GDPR, including data portability.

Send your request to privacy@haldenandvoss.com or by post to our studio. We reply free of charge within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK) in Türkiye or to your local supervisory authority.
